Holly Jo Rodda was born in Knoxville, Iowa on January 16, 1985, to David Allen Rodda and Tammy Jo Fisher. She attended Knoxville High School where she was active as a cheerleader.
Holly graduated from Knoxville High School with the class of 2003. She then moved to California where she attended cosmetology school. Holly returned to the Ottumwa, Iowa area where she began working for JBS. In 2019, Holly transitioned her career to Hormel Company.
In 1996, Holly met Adam James Hegwood and they later were united in marriage on March 29, 2022, in West Des Moines, Iowa. To this union one son was born, Logan James Hegwood.
On Monday, May 30, 2022, Holly Jo Hegwood passed away at the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics after a motorcycle accident at the age of 37 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Adam Hegwood of Knoxville; her four sons, Steven Ray Null, Jr., Dallas Allen Null, Colin Edward Ross, and Logan James Hegwood; three stepchildren; Gage Hegwood, Chandler Hegwood, and Abbigail Hegwood; her parents, David and Sally Rodda and Tammy Fisher; her brothers and sisters: Daniel Evens, Jean and her husband, Jack Johnson, Keith Ruary, Shane and his wife Michaela Ruark, Amy McConnaughey, Connor Murphy, Emily McConnaughey, Eric McConnaughey.
Of her husband’s family she leaves Adam’s mother, Kris Wilkins and Steve Bitters; his siblings, Ashley Hegwood, Tiffany Jones, both of Knoxville, Iowa; Anthony and Heather Woxell of Des Moines, Iowa, grandmother, Burnice, and step-grandfather Mike Viehdorfer of Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Judy Shilling and Ella Earl; along with her father-in-law, Kelly Hegwood.
Holly loved nature and going outside. 
She loved going out to the lake and taking pictures and styling her friends and family’s hair. Holly will be remembered as one of the most extraordinary and rare souls anyone has had the privilege to know.
