01/19/2022 Robert James “Jim” Rickabaugh, Jr., age 58, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at his residence.
Jim’s wishes were to be cremated. Due to COVID-19, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Robert James “Jim” Rickabaugh, Jr., was born on November 1, 1963, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Robert and Linda (Brees) Rickabaugh. Jim attended Knoxville High School and graduated with the class of 1983.
Following high school, Jim was employed at various employers, including Knoxville V.A. in the laundry department, Bos Landing, Lovilia Coal Company, and Pella Nursery.
Jim enjoyed spending time in the outdoors; fishing, hunting, arrowhead collecting, mushroom hunting, and traveling to see the Redwood state park in California. Jim was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He especially loved spending time with his beloved pets, Daisy, Buddy, and Nicky.
Those left to cherish Jim’s memory include his sisters, Vicky (Tavo) Engstrom Trujillo, Lucinda (Ron) Ammons, and Tisha Rickabaugh (Eddie); also nephews and great-nephews, Dustin, Jacob, Jordon, Nathan, Gavin, Gunner, Roman, and Johnny; and nieces, Michalene, Mirrah, Marissa, Maeya, and Lennox.

ents Robert Rickabaugh, Sr. and Linda Rickabaugh.; grandparents, Earl and Rosa Mae (Karr) Rickabaugh, and Lewis and Mildred (Roland) Brees; also sister, Teresa Engstrom.
Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville is assisting his family with arrangements.
